Kamianets-Podils'ky is a town on a crossroad of ancient trade ways. There lived together Ukrainian, Armenian, Polish-Lithuanian communities, the Jews, the Hungarians and the Russians, who have built the town with their own architectural tastes. An old fortress over the Smotrych river and the Novoplanivsky Bridge unite the gray olden time and nowadays.
